Gli Aironi Risi & Co

Our producer, Gli Aironi Risi & Co; has gained over 5 generations experience in rice cultivation. The GrangeVercellesi area in Northern Italy is known as the heart of the European rice production and the Perinotti family, our producer, lives in the midst of this historic rice-producing landscape; they pride themselves by investing in quality, dealing with low environmental impact farming, and have rediscovered the most traditional and valuable varieties of this precious cereal.
 
The rice used undergoes soft processing (stone craft husking) which guarantees the lightest shelling, thus keeping the nutrients contained in the outermost layer of each grain intact. These nutrients are important for the taste and texture of the cooked rice. Only the highest quality ingredients are selected in terms of gain colour, purity and size.
