CLAS was established in 1989 by the Bersano family who still manage the business today. The small family-run factory is located in Liguria, the original birthplace of pesto. Its ideal location allows CLAS to produce authentic pesto using locally grown basil.
CLAS expertly combines the traditional and the modern through using quality controlled modern technologies to make authentic Italian products using locally grown and traditional ingredients where possible.
The company is a specialised producer of Italian pestos, bruschettas, tapenades, spreads and sauces. It is this expertise in these product lines that makes them a valued producer of Jamie Oliver pestos and bruschetta toppings.
